I think about 7 or 8 boats sank in the Trump flotilla in various places. Waves from larger boats sank smaller ones. It was a bit of a mess and not at all a metaphor

I actually have a trend going this year where I start to fall apart around the 14th. I am honestly not sure if it is that I am too many beers in by then, or if it is that I don't play enough and my swing starts to get lazy and concentration wavers, or I am just (frank)ing old.

I play twice a year, nonce a year this year. First time I ever played was with my dad in Radium Hot Springs in BC. I was probably 19 or so and he hadn’t played in 15 years. I watched him with this nice easy swing hit the ball straight and far every time and thought this was going to be easy. Ha.

He was an amazing athlete though. Was hired to be town lawyer in this small town in northern Alberta only if he agreed to play on town hockey team. He and my mom started the town ski club in the ‘30s by setting up a rope tow around a truck engine. That’s what he taught me, skiing. Best sport in the world. As close to flying as you can come.

Roeper is lurking in the weeds. As soon as the Isles are eliminated he'll be all over it like a fat kid on a smartie. He was ready to pounce when the Flyers forced a game 7. But the Isles won so he's hiding again. But even if/when the Isles are eliminated by Tampa, they still got to the ECF.

Which is much farther than the Leafs and pretty much the rest of the other teams got. But he's too busy kicking dirt on other teams as he rosterbates the Leafs. Like they have a perfect roster. It's quite hilarious how he always makes it seem like The Leafs are better than every other team in the NHL. Justifying every move Dubas makes like he hits nothing but home runs.

Some people are just naturally good athletes. I find it annoying LOL! Must be coordination and hand-eye coordination. Skiing has always scared the F out of me.

If I didn’t look like him I’d be pretty sure he wasn’t my real father. I started skiing at 6 or 7 so had no fears. I had to be helicoptered off a mountain in Switzerland and remember worrying that I’d be on the outside like in MASH but have never been scared on a hill.

I tried to teach my wife to ski and she was scared all the time. She told me once when she had fallen that she would make me pay for that and she’s been doing that ever since.

A lot of my friends got angry at me for picking up their sports and then surpassing them in it quickly. Not like, legit angry, just like "dude, serious?" kind of angry.

But now I'm a broken mess. Played some ball hockey on Saturday for the first time since the beginning of the year and I'm still hurting. I guess they get the last laugh.
