As a fan, I’m angry. They just flat out didn’t show up today. They showed no backbone at all tonight. That said, I wouldn’t be and I’m sure Fletcher, won’t be rash. To judge too harshly the results of what this season has become would be a mistake.

Marner failed this year, but he was good last year. Its a new coach. He gets a pass.

Plus that team plays like the Caps used to play before they broke through. Too much fancy stuff to the outside.

Matthews was fine.

JT is always a bit of a mystery to me. I never know if he is elite or overrated.

If those assets are so good why would they trade them? Also, 3 forwards make 33 mil of the cap? If they do try to trade these assets who takes on long term max cap hit? If you mean tradings firsts that even worse in the cap world. The fix for the leafs is complicated and I think we’re in a better spot.

Question. So you’d trade provy for Marner or Tavares? I wouldn’t.
