mikheyev has some room to improve. outside of the big 4, there aren't any other returning forwards that have much room for improvement. what you see is basically what you get.

Vegas has a better goalie tandem, Bishop hasn't been great (I think injury?)
I also like Vegas' middle six. It's a lot of teams first lines and I dont know if dallas can shut them down.

I do like the depth of Dallas' defense more than Vegas but Theadore is going beast mode.

Well if Robertson makes the team he certainly does. I also think Kerfoot can do much better, He looked good prior to his injury. Jonsson I don't think will "Get better", but he can stay healthier if he's on the team and produce more.

robertson isn't a returning player. he's a rookie. he may end up a better player than kap; but next year he likely won't be.

kefoot could be utilized better - put him on the 1st pp unit. get a better balance between the 2 units.

I really don't worry about our depth. A team better than Toronto and supposedly a contender just took our 3rd line winger to be a 1st line winger.
Mikeyev actually scored at a higher pace than Kapanen ever has (A year he played significantly with Matthews) prior to his injury. His signing really helped make this trade. His signinga nd drafting Robertson is massive for replacing depth we lose. Dubas has done a great job at that.

They are getting a 1st pair RHD without a doubt. I think they use that 1st rounder in a trade for that palyer.

But moving johnsson allows for an upgrade at one of 3c or defense. Right now we only have space for mik, demott and cheap depth players.
