Trading Kap was a loss to team speed but he was expendable. A better 3C would be a big help especially if a 2-way player.

Rodrigues if cheap would be an upgrade on the Goat.

Still the bigger needs are a top 4 RHD & Freddie could be better if that happened. It wouldn’t be a huge loss if he were replaced but who would that be? Lehner or?

It could’ve been let go but not going to cry about it. Took a perfect threading of the needle by Theodore to give VGK the win. If the game went to OT the Knights would’ve been shlttin bricks. Demko played lights out in his 1st 3 ever PO games. Earned his PO record for a rookie G with the 48 saves.

Other than goaltending, the Canucks were absolutely dominated in every possible way in Game 7. The ice was ridiculously tilted and it would have been embarrassing had the Canucks fluked a win last night based on how outclassed they were.

It is but it would be a bigger loss to most other teams. Leafs have way too much of the same thing, especially on that 3rd line. And the return was huge for a 3rd liner.
