nah. look at what kapanen got. saad is better.

the going price for a rental at TDL is a 1st and a prospect. doing it now would give the habs him for a full season to either re-sign him or move him at TDL themselves.

The 2nd may be a bit much but I don't think it is crazy unfair.

Well, if he would keep the pace he had for a while in here, you would have to give him more than 2,5 or 3 millions a year.

If you give him that, it's because you don't expect him to keep that pace.

no poop. i said that. he won't be a UFA until after next season. the 2nd is the cost for getting him for a full season as opposed to 30 games.

its really not that hard.

I didn't really see him play in WAS, but from the looks of it he was pretty quiet during the playoffs

The Kapanen deal won't be the benchmark, the fact that Rutherford is a tool doesn't mean the entire league will lower themselves to his stupidity.... cause really, Kapanen for 15th overall was bad enough, but Pittsburgh got hosed on the smaller pieces of that trade too, it's embarrassing... if we're going by that specific trade, Domi should fetch a top 5 pick in the draft!

Saad should be of interest to the Habs but Bergy won't give up a 1st for 1 year of Saad, he's never traded away a 1st before, won't do it here.... if Saad is extended he might.... otherwise Poehling + the Hawks 2 picks back (2nd & 3rd)! Still seems like a lot to me

I don't think you get that much from Bergerin for a rental.

Really? He won't get that, I doubt any team in the top 5 give you their pick for Domi + 16th even

nah I was being a tad sarcastic loll.. personally I'm on the fence between a very decent return and a disappointing trade, it all depends on how other GMs perceive Domi and their need to acquire a center

Bergevin is pretty good at trading, I'm sure the return will be decent...

Just read a rumor about discussions with SJ involving Vlasic with Armia being part of the return
