Only the bottom of the barrel will sign as ufa's in Montreal. Only way to land the guy you want is through trades, at least until the team becomes competetive. The goalie market is not flooded with guys willing to be a backup. Jake Allen is the perfect fit. If Price can move into the fifty-five game range he has shown how well he can play while rested. Only a year left on Allen's deal so commitment is limited.

Haha that just is not true. Mtl is a hockey town that can attract free agents. Now lets see how picky all the players are this coming season, as only 6 teams are in a position to be spending money. Hence why I don't like the Allan trade one bit. But eh, I'm impartial and really don't care what moves they make, but If it were my team I would not be to psyched on a 15M goalie duo.
