Currently in a leadership forum with rod black and Wayne Gretzky.
Rod black is a pretty down to earth guy. - Fakepartofme
Rod brought the 70's back before the hipsters. He's an OG. |

I'd be ok with that.
But he's gonna sign it with someone else, most likely.

I think he thinks he's worth more than that. He's got 2 yrs of RFA left.
He and the Habs probably work the phones seeing what the market is. If there is one then he'll get traded and get a longer contract he likes or sign a 1 yr prove it deal around 4.5.
I doubt he gives up 2 years of UFA on a modest deal. |

Sucka....
Honestly, the habs just pluck along and do quite well. We always give them a hard time but they are still a NHL team and can burn anyone who isn't awake for the game.
Especially with a one-two punch of Price and Allen. I think the trade was worth it.

he had 72 points 2 years ago, but no consistency.
i think he's in the 5M to 5.5M range on a 1-2 year deal.
yup - ufa years will cost more. i'd guess in the 6-6.5m range on a 3-4 year deal.
4 years seems like the Max he should get

I keep thinking Holtby is a reclamation project - Maybe I'm wrong
I wouldn't want the Leafs giving him significant term or $$$. I was thinking he could be a good 1 year deal for the leafs, but not if other teams are going to give him big term and money.

Tuesday, I believe. I heard it in here, so it may not be true. - bixll
I posted a twitter post from a rumour account that said he asked for a trade.
That guy has gotten some things right before but when it comes to the Leafs, he's usually just throwing things out there.
I mostly posted it as a joke because Roger is insane when it comes to Freddy. |

I don't care to debate with you. I think you are used to criticizing and insulting people. I don't want to get into a back and forth the way the numbskulls in Canucks blog do everyday. Have a great day. |

I think the sweet spot for the Leafs is finding a goalie making/willing to sign for 2 or 3 years at 4 million or less.
That'll let them add 4-5 million dollar defenseman and probably get Hyman re-upped next summer.
Any goalie making more than 4 million means bigger sacrifices then just a Johnsson/Kerfoot and a Dermott. |

Ya and even the variations between regular season and playoffs in a single year makes predicting goalies a challenge. Korpisalo for example ....
So much of it seems to be comfort level with a system and confidence. Maybe that's why KD believes Murray can be good here ....comfort with Keefe ...??? |

Really hurt you to be called out. Then stop trying to be sly with your jabs.. Leafs fans are very tired of the terrible trolling that has been going on.
I bet it stops. Care to wager?? - bixll
