The funny thing is, Domi is a decent player in a 3rd line role, but at his correct cap hit, not what hell likely get. - Archaic
The weird thing about Domi is that he was acquired as a winger, moved to centre by lack of options, performed well and now he doesn't want to play the wing again or at least completely sucks at wing while being unable to come close to his first season's results at centre (would barely have gotten 50 points in a full season this year).
Guy has talent, but it feels like he needs a very specific setting to be successful.

Oh Jesus, this is bringing up horrible memories of his father.
Tie was a much better hockey player than most give him credit for. He worked hard.
But at the tail end of his career, he decided he was the NHL's global ambassador to hockey, and he was much bigger than the Leafs. It was painful to watch.

My kid bunked with him at a summer hockey camp when Max would been about 7 or 8. He said he was a nice kid, not stuck up at all.
