he also kinda sucks. but whateves. its only one season. now if bergy re-signs him, then its a terrible move.
- Gramps28

that will depend on Primeau, and on Allen's performances, and on the price. time will tell.

Dominoes....now STL can resign Pietrangelo, thus the Leafs can't sign him! GENIUS!
- jugkope

if that's the case then we didn't want him anyway

with all the re-signing and RFAs they'll have to pay at the end of next year, they can't afford to re-sign Allen. They were able to afford a higher cap backup this year

Allen was a cap dump to the Blues, you can't argue that
- obie

They would have flipped him to another team for sure. He's still a useful player and the Habs have cap space and so many picks. It was that, or ending up with another mediocre backup and having Price play too many games again.

he won't cost anywhere near 4.3. He will get 1M and like it. he blows.

Wait am I reading this correctly on capfriendly? once they drop their 3rd goalie they have about 15 million to sign Domi, 3 depth forwards and a 6th and 7th d?

The media is so positive these days... all over TSN they're even talking about the Leafs' cap flexibility! delusional!

- Njuice

6th and 7th d are already signed. No need to sign any depth forwards either with the young guys joining the team.

So... 15M for Domi... who's likely getting traded.
Cap space baby woo!

I've seen plenty of lineups including him the last few weeks.

But sure, some of Leafs nation never believed he was coming indeed.

- Scabeh

Sure, but that was all just fantasy lineups with him. Pretty much everyone youd ask would say its truly unlikely.

No that trade also included Kyle Clifford, not just Jack Campbell. Also, Jack Campbell wasnt a cap dump.

Folin won't be back.

Didn't Ouellet sign a 2-way contract a few weeks back?

Mete will get a small raise... going from what... 700k to 1.5 tops?

Not sure what he is getting at, the Habs clearly have lots of cap space.

from the blues perspective he is a cap dump.
- Gramps28

From my girlfriend's perspective she's going over business expenses. From my perspective we're having good sex. Can't we both be right?

I think Mete might get more, but even then he's only 1 player and it won't be a cap breaker.

I don't know about Ouellet, Capfriendly doesn't have it. And yeah Folin is a goner.
