He was on his way to a career year in November of 2019... lot has happened since then.

Frost isn’t an NHL player. Lindblom is still older. More mature to this level. A lot of players have gotten hurt entire seasons and have made strong returns.

I mentioned this yesterday, AV saying Lindblom was a few days away was just media lip service. But now that I think about it more, perhaps he was trying to motivate the team more? Fight another day and your teammate may join us soon.

This may be true right now, but keep in mind neither is Conner Bunnaman. My hunch is that is who we are going to see tomorrow.

No fringe guy has ever came in and made an impact, our top prospect at that. Put him on the wing and he’ll be fine. Should we wait to play him against Detroit? Get him a nice favorable game.

Well someone said Raffl skated yesterday. If so, would say odds are 45% Raffl, 45% Bunnaman, and 10% Oskar. If Raffl is unavailable, I would put 88% odds on Bunny.

He skated at the team skate, but he's not taking warmups. So he's probably not ready to play.

The problem is, this series is so tight that any single miscue could be the nail in the coffin. Frost actually has decent two-way ability and I'm not worried about him poopting the bed or anything, but this team is already running a LOT of inexperience out there as it is. It's just a wiser choice to go with a vet until there's more margin for error.

Backs against the wall, would have liked to see him get in earlier but it’s all good. G played last night with another gear, hopefully that woke him up.

I have to admit Jake looked like he had another gear last night as well. I think that was his best game. The two of them played really well. I would just like to see the team that played that OT and not the team that was up 3-1. Sure they gave up some chances in OT but so did the Isles and I will take our goalie over theirs .

Jake was great too, that second goal was a tough one. Couple screens but it was from far out. I’m the off season I wanted to sign Nelson over Hayes but I think we made the right decision.

Throughout the year, including against the Habs, they have been very good in defending leads. You can see why they are confused now about what to do.

Didn't he score a shortie when he played? Which means, AV trusts him on the pk.

I think though, any newcomer would need to satisfy the pronounced risk-aversion of coaches in such situations. Which means AV's own ranking would be likely Raffl, Bunny, Andreoff, Oscar and Frost.

I don’t even think Farabee has been they impressive and he’s been playing the entire playoffs. Farabee skates well and has a scoring touch but he doesn’t have those attention to details. Not a strong forchecker, not strong on his skates or even strong physically. We’ve already seen Frost play this season. I’d rather go with the much older, more experience player. If the Flyers didn’t think Lindblom could handle a return, wby bother bringing him to the bubble or practice with the team at all?

Imo, Farabee has amazingly good reads for a rookie. He is responsible, defensively sound, tremendous effort.

I don't think he is going to sit.

Totally understand that people want the more experienced player, I think Farabee has played quite well but needs to finish. Lindblom most likely wanted to be with the team and they with him, with a small chance of making a return, but maybe I’m totally off and he really is close

In my opinion, Farabee has shown that he is going to be a hell of a player. He's very young and green yet still plays a solid two way game and is involved offensively. I think he's been very good relative to his age and experience level.

So many times I've seen Farabee try to tie a guy up or lift/eliminate sticks and guys are just shrugging him off or sending him flying. He's fighting way above his weight class right now. The Isles are a pretty beefy team.

Once he gets stronger, he'll be able to really bring all of his tools to bear. Right now he's giving up 20lbs to the smallest guy on the other team and hanging on by the skin of his teeth thru hockey sense and anticipation. Credit to him for playing as well as he has.

I just wonder how a guy can be 20, an athlete, and be 6 feet tall and weigh 164 lbs. How is that possible? Maybe skaters are advised not to put on weight as quickly as NFL guys, but in the latter case, its pretty much pack the proteins and lift and you will gain 20 lbs in a year easy.

I remember when Lane Johnson came to Eagles, he would eat 17 egg breakfasts.
