Not a good deal for either team imo. They can't trade away all their dmen, and only nurse is a good player coming back to the Leafs.

Skinner - .36 GPG and .64 PPG career.
Nylander - .28 GPG and .74 PPG career

1. Both are ridiculously overpaid (skinner more so)
2. Neither hits
3. Niether plays high traffic areas
4. Neither kills penalties.
5. Both have been benefited by elite centers. Skinner has had Staal (eh) and Eichel
Nylander has had Matthews and Tavares.
6. Neither has won a damn thing

So other than the fact that Nylander might be a little flashier (Skinner figure skating training aside)…..Every time you think "what would Nylander get?" I propose its fair to think "would Skinner bring this"?? USING FACTS...prove me wrong

btw, the difference between skinner and nylander is 4years in age (28 vs 24), 2mln AAV (6.9 vs 9) and a huge amount of money already been paid out on the nylander contract.

they are not comparable at all when discussing trade value.
