I think you do whatever it takes to get AP on this team. It's not often that you can land a bonafide Top 5 defender in the league who has also Captained his team to a Stanley Cup.

If it means losing Nylander, so be it. It's a tough break but this team needs balance and AP, playing 24-25mins a night, instantly makes the Leafs defense more than credible.

I'd rather go for Ekholm over Ellis. Doubt they would move Ekholm though but he would be very good for this team.
