would be a great move.
- Fakepartofme

if thats the plan (or possible)..havent look at the rules.

But otherwise its an odd move. 14mil in goalies...limits other moves...he is a backup in Montreal for 4.3 mil..for 1 season?

they paid a 3rd for him...helping Stl out of bad spot while giving a pick

I pretty much love all of it but I'd say the top 3 are almost the same for everyone. Other albums are great, too, don't get me wrong, but those 3 are perfect in every way.

Only thing I dislike about Floyd is the (frank)ing drama between them. Just thinking about how much more amazing stuff we could've gotten from them equal part pisses me off and makes me so sad.

Gives a chance for Price to get more rest while seeing what Allen can do.
Maybe could open the door to moving Price.

Wouldn't mind for this thread to start looking at more realistic possibilities

Love them all, Darkside is an obvious one but I also really like Meddle, Wish you were here, Atom Heart Mother, Saucerful of Secrets and Obscured by Clouds.

Not gonna lie, I wasn't a huge fan of Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun, for a long time. But Waters played it when I saw him live at the Dome back in the mid 2000's, and it was unbelievably incredible.

No, it isn't.

Waters is a real wiener but he was the creative genius there.

David Gilmour is my musical hero though

Ya, I love them both.

Saw them with Dylan in ‘74 at the Forum in Montreal. It was amazing. As I remember it was Dylan and the Band together, then Dylan alone, then and then them together again. They were so (frank)ing good. I was really surprised at how good Dylan was.

Saw that tour at the Gardens. It was great. Loved the Band it is interesting that they are rarely included in lists of great Canadian groups even though their roots are strongly Canadian. They were playing coffee houses in Yorkville as Ronnie Hawkins as the Jayhawks before they known as the Band.

I love it all too -- I just wish more "fans" knew there were albums outside of the usual 73-79 run.

Definitely a lot of drama but I think that tension between Roger and the rest was a necessary evil. It's just too bad Gilmour had decided he wanted to carry on the Floyd name after Roger left. Had he decided to call the project something different I often wonder if Roger and him would have mended fences and collaborated at some point.

To be honest, for all of Roger's megalomaniacal antics back in the day, it's Gilmour who seems to be holding the most angst at this point.

I mean I thought is was pretty easy to see what I was doing there.

Those groups of players will be of interest to both teams for sure.

Again, Price has a NMC, and anyone he would concievably want to go to would likely be unable to fit him under the cap.

Dude, legit one of the saddest things that's happened to me on the computer is youtube taking down that video for "copyright infringements".

I had 2 links for it and now neither work.

Really? I've always thought that "Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun" was one of the best tracks from that album. It was always the title track that I found to be a bit of a slog.

No question there are a few that remained together, but so many big egos, ruined so many great bands or limited their success.

Price is from the West Coast, maybe he does a Marc-Andre Fleury and decides to be the face of the Kraken franchise?

I truly doubt it. Plus, Seatlle likely wont want a 10.5M goalie on their cap.

Montreal could retain. Seattle will need to make it to the cap floor so maybe having him, arguably a Top 2-3 goalie in the league, on board is attractive to them?

Roger Waters is very high strung while Gilmour is laid back. Waters actually kicked Richard Wright out of the band. I went to see the Animals tour, (there was no show in Toronto) in Montreal at the Olympic Stadium. During the concert some (frank)er was throwing fire crackers on the stage landing at the feet of Waters. He stopped playing and had a tirade about stopping the concert if the guy didn't stop. The idiot was roughed up and escorted out, but the tirade by Waters was over the top.
