How about this: trade fir some players who don’t play a cheap, dirty game and deliberately try to injure opposing players. Or dies that go against the Boston blueprint? Try to add some class to an organization and fan base that is sorely lacking it.

Sometimes you can't tell if they are kidding.
Scary part is there are some fans that actually do think their teams play on a higher moral ground than other teams.

I completely agree. TB made the necessary tweaks this year and the Bruins need to do the same. Nik Ritchie and Kase was not the answer and I think we all knew that. Sweeney has been unable to construct the forward group outside the top line and that is a major problem.
Loved Halaks performance in game 5. Great to see, but he wasn’t very good in the series and that was a major difference. - Tachmo
they effectively gave up 3 first rounders, one from last year, and the next two.

I thought the cost was significant for the return but TB may very well win the cup! |

I love how this comes from Pittsburgh. Oh the irony. Did your little rant make you feel better at least? |

I guess he has amnesia when it comes to Crosby spearing people in the groin.

Let's not forget a wonderful pen by the name of Matt Cooke...real stand up guy and full of Penguin's "class". |

Seriously. Crosby is no angel out there. They also have both some real low rent fans and players in their history.
Also can we stop with over use of the word class? Almost nobody has class anymore especially the ones constantly screaming about it.
Empty vessels make the loudest noise.

Looks like Chara has officially told his agent to start talks immediately with the Bruins for next season. |

Krug mentioning that he is the longest tenured Boston athlete without a ring, leads me to believe that he wants to come back.
I think he will sign for 6.7 and stay in Boston. |

I doubt it, but anything is possible. They can't keep Krug and Griz both (at least I hope not)...they need to get bigger on the back end so they aren't shoved around in the crease. |

Yeah - those two are basically the same size - small. Can't keep both.
And 6.7M is pretty much the max I'd go for what he brings to the table.

Bottom line, no way I pay him more than Marchand plain and simple. |
