Barzal will come back with a pirate patch over his eye and undress Hagg and Braun.

Been saying that since the Habs series. At least they won’t sign him next season. Hagg has to have that guy, Myers way overplayed clutterbuck. But way to much Thompson even before Coots got hurt

(frank) this if we win this game I live in buffalo. Toronto is a 2 hour drive for me. I’ll make the trip and bash Thompson’s legs in just so we don’t have to see him anymore

Thompson is good on faceoffs and good defensively. Exactly how you use a player like that. Haag is in the lineup supposedly for his defense but is a complete spectator on the play.

Has been a liability on face offs the entire series....wins all the ones that don’t matter. His lack of speed at this point is a problem.

Myers was a bit too aggressive in his pursuit on that play.

I felt like everyone put their foot off the gas. AV was throwing Couturier, Giroux and Voracek out there every other shift until they tied it. There was a push in waves until we were up 3-1. And they stopped...again.

Now we are seeing why av teams can’t win a cup. Way too (frank)ing passive. In today’s nhl you can not just sit back. You have to play in the other end to win cup. That’s obvious not av approach. Playing Thompson game after game down the stretch this much is retarded

That soft goal potentially ended their season. You just can’t give away a two goal lead with 5:49 to play.
- Flyers1218

Yes, I agree. The soft 2nd goal was a killer.

And how does Clutter(frank) get that pass across with 2 guys on him? He got it exactly where he wanted. They might as well not have been on him.

Hmm.

Reminds me of something: the very first goal Habs scored on us.

Just salt in the wound when Jake has attempted that pass like 20 times and hasn’t connected once

Konecny is having his best game to date and in a fair world, it would be Poetic justice but the way they popped two and the fact we’ve only had a buck and a quarter in PP time to their three power plays, I’m not seeing it. They’ve gotten away with a lot.

IMO, it wasn't soft, it was a hell of a shot. Right by the ears.
