He was gonna get it anyway, even if he didn't play here, Gilmore will break that next year. Basically took the 5th year option away and moved the money to this year.

I will always pay star players. Tre is one. It’s the Murphy’s and star leatulea (I cant spell) you don’t pay big money to

Probably is, didn't have a bad year last year. Only played 12 games though. He's definitely right up there.

Jalen Ramsey hasn't been good in 3 years. Last year he allowed a completion percentage of 66.7%, White allowed 50%. Ramsey allowed 1.1 more yards per target. Ramsey allowed a rating of 89.6, White allowed a 45.0. About the only thing Ramsey is better at is tackling, and if you can't complete a pass, you don't have to worry about tackling. And though it's hard to compare, White has 2 more INT despite the fact that Ramsey has one more season.

I don't know, PFF is pretty well respected and since 2017, the last three years he has a high grade from them. @PFF
Jalen Ramsey vs. Tre'Davious White grades/rank since 2017:

Buffalo bonus - you have to pay them a bit to play here

Well, PFF is one analytics source and is not the be all and end all of football player ratings but it has some respect.

Tre White is not the 13th best corner in football. He's top-5, probably top-2 and nipping at Gilmore's heels for 1.

If he played in a big market he would be a household name

It's a good move, locking up there young core with Dawkins done earlier. Beane is next, expect that in the next couple days.

Pro Football Reference's "approximate value" has Gilmore at 21, White at 18, and Ramsey at 8 for last year.

Ramsey V white the last 4 years:

7 n/a
15 5
10 7
8 18

Edit: Stupid formatting. No matter how many spaces you put it only recognizes one.

I hope so. I said to my out-of-town buddy recently: Beane and McDermott are in a great position. If allen doesn't make the step this year that we all want him to, it's not their asses on the line. They're 2/3 on the playoffs. They'll cut bait and draft a QB if this doesn't work. They have the capital to survive that

Very surprised Murphy didn't get let go. If Edmunds keeps growing it is gonna be very hard to keep Milano.

Oh it's gonna happen, Beane has had a busy month, he put the team ahead of himself, wanted to take care of these extensions first.

The Bills need a pass rusher/edge and this team will be pretty complete

Maybe not. I was reading the other day that analytics has revealed that coverage is more important than pass rushing and teams are trending in that direction. This organization values playing multiple positions so I'd be surprised if they went looking for an expensive position like that.

I’ve read similar, but it depends on scheme.

Certain teams/systems can scheme pass rushing. The Bills do that really well and if they have good zone coverage it will lead to success.

Well that's why they brought in Addison, which should help Hughes who is healthy this year.

The Bill's are probably gonna have to go heavy on Edge and OLB next year in the draft, especially with the way Beane set up some of the D contracts.

If that is the case then good, but pressure takes heat off the pass coverage and the Bills weaker corners but if they can do it without a stud on the edge then so be it.

Is Adams planning on doing anything?

There’s been multiple trades, RFA’s are being signed, nothing from the Sabres who should be the most desperate to start making some moves.

How about getting Kahun or Reinhart locked up?

Or is he still figuring out ice temperature levels at harbor center?
