I sincerely doubt it. For one thing, with the exception of Bogosian, all of those UFAs were of his choosing. If that was the plan, he could have executed it last offseason.

He kicked the can down the road, as he did with everything: bridging players, keeping 100 defensemen, not solving the center problem for half of the (redacted) administration.

Adams lucks into Cozens being excellent, Dahlin turning into a superstar, makes a competent move, and the Sabres finally look playoff worthy

Or two, Cozens needs time, these idiots play Ristolainen a ton, and we sit here and argue about the salary cap and whether Adams likes long term deals or not because we won’t be in the playoffs so we will nit pick everything
