He's been receiving roughly 55% O-Zone starts the past 2 seasons.

I agree that his defense has not been good, but it has shown steady improvement the past 3 seasons, which is in contrast to Sean Monahan, for example, who has not shown almost any improvement defensively and has been on a better team.

If that’s the cost yes. Domi is a good EV scorer so it’s not all bad. He doesn’t really drive offense though and is bad defensively.

His 72 point 28 goal year is an outlier of the 5 he’s played

I'll redact the empty calorie point producer because he's a better scorer at EV than I thought.

But is on ice Xgf/60 was 60th among centers with at least 500 minutes this year.

His on ice scoring chance for % was 58th. Behind Danault who was 3rd.

His offensive zone starts/60 were a lot higher than JK and Danault.

Danault is a ton better. And will probably get paid less, and worth less on the market
