I think Jersey would take Holtz over Rossi. They've drafted plenty of centers in the early rounds the last few years (Hughes, Hischier, Boqvist, Mcleod) and they have a big need of wingers on the right side.

Works for us then ..

The last Austrian we drafted worked out

I think the Sabres would be overjoyed to see Rossi fall to them.

Depends whose on the board. This is my personal top 10:

Laf
Byfield
Raymond
Rossi
Drysdale
Stutzle
Perfetti
Lundell
Sanderson
Holtz.

Here’s a mock of what I think is going to happen in the top 8:
NYR: Laf
LA: Byfield/Stutzle
OTT: Stutzle/Byfield
DET: Perfetti
OTT: Raymond
ANA:Drysdale
NJD: Rossi
Buff: Lundell/Holtz.

I know most people have Stutzle as the consensus 3 and a lot of scouts have him at 2 but I think he has the highest boom/bust potential. He struggles getting to high danger scoring opportunities and really is a perimeter player even at the DEL level. However he does have elite NHL Speed. That’s my reasoning for having him at 6 in my personal ranking

I adjusted yours to represent mine.

NYR: Laf
LA: Byfield
OTT: Stutzle
DET: Perfetti
OTT: Sanderson
ANA:Drysdale
NJD: Raymond
BUF: Rossi

I don't see NJ taking Rossi if Raymond is there. Raymond becomes available as a result of Ott going Center then Defense

My best guess that is sure to be wrong:

LA: Byfield/Stutzle

OTT: Sanderson
ANA: Drysdale
NJD: Raymond
Buff: Rossi or Holtz

Mine matches yours. I agree on Ottawa taking Sanderson at 5, and I believe the Devils would take either of Raymond or Holtz if one is available, although I think they prefer Raymond.

Very reasonable.

Any way you want to draw it up. I would be very hesitant giving up the 8th OA pick in a trade because either way the cookie crumbles we are walking out with a great prospect.

I think the bills cut roberts, gives one of the kids kr/pr duties

I don't think so. I think they keep 7 WR's at the expense of another position.

dimarco, and murphy are rumored to be on the chopping block

Murphy maybe, but DiMarco has made the team - he's the only FB on the roster

pretty much

if 2 d men go ahead of them, even better

and if the sens grab Askarov, it's the cherry on top

as long as the sabres don't fall in love with quinn

If this were to happen, I think it would alter what I would do for a 2C target.
Might be more inclined to go Domi for 2 years and see what happens with Cozens and then Rossi as C's over those 2 years. Trade Domi if they both look capable as 2 & 3 C's...or move him to wing.

McKenzie was a returner in Denver before he was cut.

Happy for him to carve out a role in Buffalo though these past couple of years

I’m all for moving the 2021 first rounder top 3 protected however to keep Jack happy.

I’m sure some sort of package revolving Montour/Risto, Mitts, Thompson, 2021 First, Johnson/Samuelsson can get a 2C in here.

If Raymond were available at 6 I would be calling Anaheim.

Risto and 8 for Henrique and 6.

I've been thinking Bonino in that regard, and seeing if he would agree to a short term extension, and then this offseason seeing if a veteran like Soderberg or Haula would sign a one or two year deal.
