Domi's minutes got cut a lot then he did the whole delete MTL social media ties.
IMO they will get less for him than Monahan, a guy who doesn't need to be moved. - RhinoFan
so he started to pout.. sounds like someone buffalo could use in their locker room.. |

Sarcasm? Price has 6 years left at $10.5M per, with a $13M pay day due for the 21-22 season, and he just turned 33 two weeks ago.
Who is trading for that deal? A lunatic? - kingcong39
May I introduce you to your president and ceo of the Buffalo Sabres, Kim Pegula. |

Monahan is also the only quality Center Calgary has while Montreal has 4 of them. |

Let’s be honest though Montreal doesn’t have to move Domi either. He’s capable of playing wing.
I agree he might cost less, but I doubt it’s going to be something like Colin Miller and a 2nd or Montour.
And while I don’t like Domi, it’s all relative. He’s obviously decent. For a top 6 center I’m not a fan |

Is he pouting?
He got moved to wing, a position that Julien even said he isn't well suited to play. Then he got dropped down the lineup when he didn't produce on wing, Julien saying he wanted to spark the 4th line.
I always think the social media tantrums are childish. Can agree that's "poutish" but I can get why the guy is mad. Especially going into a contract year, Julien took a chunk out of that next contract rightly or wrongly.

He was the next roy so it would make sense to pay him that ..
But now its a headache - GERBE!!!75PTS
I would never pay a top goalie that guy of money. It’s insane. It doesn’t work. |

I don't know, with the drop in minutes, firing his agent and social media fiasco, I don't see MTL resigning him. The guy obviously doesn't want to be there anymore.
As far as value, you may be right. He did have a huge year a couple seasons ago. I just think given the circumstances, he'd garner less than Cozens or #8 like we're talking about with Monahan. Maybe I'm wrong. |

To be honest, I wish more of our players were chomping at the bit for minutes. But I get your point. I guess I don't see him as negatively. |

Montour and next year's second gets you Domi imo unless they don't want to trade in the division. Or unless they're set on getting a young winger instead of a D man. We really can't help them there |

That's what I figured. MTL could decline and want to send elsewhere, but the price shouldn't be exorbitantly more than that either way. |
