You can’t sink the ship any worse ..... adding an legitimate 60 point center is never bad move.

Johansson had 30 points FYI and isn’t really a center anymore.

Impatience doesn't change the state of the organization. The system, and the roster, aren't close to good enough to give up 1sts.

I’ve always felt that the best guys to coach or understand the game are not the superstars. They’re gifted and while they know the game for sure, it’s the guy who has to really think to learn the details to even be able to stay in the league. Not saying it’s a hard fast rule, just saying something I’ve kinda thought for a while

I would hate to trade the 8th pick, but if it brings back a player that is 25-26 or younger, that has to be looked at.

what is Ellis going to do, take top end talent and how them how to be plugs? Coach up our 4th liners?

I would do our 8th for Monahan straight up. Jack and the rest of the team need to see a real commitment to winning now - not in 2 or 3 years. Not to mention the fan base. Throw Mitts in and add Bennett. Or sub out Mitts and trade out one of Montour/Risto. Go crazy.
