I long for the day this team starts to think like a championship team and realizes that a team with Ristolainen on it is the exact opposite of one. |

Wouldn't you find your love for the game again after getting out of here, it's not like the Sabres haven't been a black hole for the last decade. |

While I am assuming that ROR said what he said to make a point I would never begrudge anyone for not enjoying the game while losing year after year. Most people got their panties in a jumble when he said it but I think we'd all feel the same way in his shoes. He was just being honest.
Happy for Bogo but playing with Hedman will raise anyone's game.

In reality, what does this mean?
Is he reading Hockey Buzz?
Is he talking daily, weekly to Keryy, Tim and Kevyn?
Serious question. |

Well he likes tandem bike riding on the waterfront, he loves the area and the view from his Condo. And Chippewa is A+. |

My take- ROR wanted out because he was frustrated with the immature and entitled actions of people that have been in Buffalo collecting coin and not doing the WORK.
ROR has extra practices to teach skills at an insane level, the kids show up. We all knew this but what happened?
Rumors of 420 Reinhart and probably coke too. Parties. Dancing. Ladies. Maybe even some dudes were there. Tandem bikes. Jorts.
Doesn’t sound like a bunch of youngsters taking their job seriously and they flaked off to their jort bikes and toking cabanas leaving ROR by himself contemplating the dismal losing culture and no one wants to practice with him. Maybe ROR says a few things and people tell him to pound sand and chill. He realizes this is not a winning culture and people come here to party on the chip strip and make questionable fashion choices while blazing doobies and sniffing coke off asses. Throw in the free agents who come here to steal terry blind and we have a poop storm of epic proportions.
“Daddy, get me outta here!”
-Ror, probably.
Keeping Sam here is probably designed to keep king eichs happy so he doesn’t request a trade. |

If memory serves me he also very much wanted to be captain and I am sure it became clear that he wasn't going to be captain.

Say what you will, Sam learned the game from him...his wrist shot was Jr level until ROD took him under his wing.
The poster was right, the youngins s could have used more mental and skill development.
Our 1C FO % is what 46% ( didn't look it up / guessed) |

It helps when you have the puck more then the other team. Faceoffs do help with that. |

Anyone suggesting either one of those two to play 2C this year is gonna get the stool.
Cozens shouldn't play it either but it's not stool-worthy |

Recent history suggests teams shouldn't rely on most rookies to be quality top 6 centers.

no reason to sell whatever assets we have left, to get a legit center for a shortened season, when there is no reason why one of those 3 will not be ready 12 months from now
it's not like we are talking 4th rd picks, we are talking 3 picks taken 8 or better overall |

I dont care if Mitts was picked 1oa, he has no business being given that job. Nor does a rookie picked at the draft. If Eichel misses 10 games, youre talking about 1C mojo or cozens. That's just unacceptable. They need to get a Ryjo or Monahan |
