2 baseball games were cancelled because players are protesting/boycotting the shooting in Wisconsin. Where does this end?

I guess poliice shooting a felon will the an outstanding warrant, resisting police, and going for a knife in his car with his kids is all about racism.

Totally deserving of protests

Of course, makes total sense

Can I just make up a reality that suits me? That would be awesome

Rangers have a few problems. Having David Quinn as their head coach is NOT one of them! He is the right man for the job.

I know we went over this like crazy when it happened, not to rehash it, because ultimately we got the first overall pick and that's one of greatest moments in NYR history, but, Quinn kind of lost me going with Lundqvist over Georgiev in play-in round.

still bothers me a bit, I just think it was the wrong decision

I think we would have still lost with Georgiev, I just think at the very least it was a good opportunity to showcase him for a trade, and ultimately at this point he is better than Hank is anyway

that is why after the Shesty car accident Georgiev got all the games

I get what you are saying about showcasing Georgie, but there could be two other reasons for playing Hank. Hank looked the best in practice and Quinn wanted to win the series. Or they already know whats going on with our goalie situation and it didn't matter who started.

I still just think it shows a coach who doesn't know what he is doing

if when Shesty got into the car accident and Lundqvist got all those starts, then it would have made sense

I would love to ask Quinn why Georgiev was good enough to play March 11th in Colorado in a game we desperately needed but not game 1 in the bubble

Maybe Hank made his intentions clear already to management and they are going with Shesty & Georgie next year. Maybe Georgie looked like poop in the bubble?

I think you are just getting hung up on what they looked like before the break, where no one in their right mind would have started Hank. I mean look at what happened to Zib and Panarin. They were invisible after the break but were 2 of the hottest players before

I am just hung up a coach that I felt looked a little weak

I am the one usually accused of always defending the head coach, to me the decision just spoke of being a weak leader

It was a tough decision after December to act like Lundqvist no longer existed, which is exactly what they did, they should have owned it instead of getting sentimental

Lets say for a second Georgie couldn't stop a beachball in practice. What would have been the benefit of starting him? Would have lowered his value. I'm just saying we have no idea what the reasoning behind starting Hank was. You seem to have your mind made up that Quinn started Hank over sentimental reasons. Personally seeing what Quinn did over the season, I don't believe that was why Hank started. imo

I think those points in February and March were really important

when they had no idea the season was going to be paused, they thought the best chance to win was Georgiev and should have stuck to that

now, if Georgiev does get traded and they let Hank finish out the last year of his contract, how is Quinn going to react to the pressure of giving Hank games, especially since it will be his "good-bye tour"

I thought a clean unannounced break from Hank had already happened, and I guess that's just what irks me the most
