or To Pitt with Hutton for

Murray and a Rust?

Basically turning the 8th into

Monahan
Murray
Rust

- ImThatGuy

Funny EK is saying Murray is drawing a lot of interest and might even bring back a 1st.

So:

Domi for Reinhart?

Domi for Montour and next years 3rd?

Domi, 15 and a 2nd for 8oa?

- jcragcrumple

I would do number 2 in a second. RFA for RFA. And I might look at the 3rd option.

Curious what his value is after the playoff performance... I’m making a call that’s for sure.

Um no murry is injury proned and teams know pitt needs to trade murry so might get the value back. But ottawa who has 3 1sts might do it.

If that happens, the prices in trades are gonna go up, especially with Rutherford giving up a 1st for Kapanen.

That didn't stop Jimmy from overpaying for Kapanen.

Not even close. Guys who play with injuries shouldn’t be sh!t on cause they are true pros and will always bounce back. You can see it is already happening with one former player. I think Bogo will get the last laugh and when and if they depart with Hutton it will come back to haunt them.
I think if a guy is out with a sprain for 6 or 7 weeks during crunch time that could be a time when fans have reason to think something is not right.

- Camel

Lot of former Sabres of the last few years have gone on to better things with other teams. Doesn't mean that Hutton didn't suck for 3 months and hurt the Sabres in the process.

Amerks signed a kid named Ryan Jones from Nebraska-Omaha, 4th round pick of the Pens in 2016.

Leaves Hickey, Borgen, Nelson, Gilmour, Redmond, Bryson, Fitzgerald, Paetsch, Borgen, MacWilliam, Jones, Laaksonen, Spencer and Samuelsson. Imagine one or two of those go to Cincy, one or two vets get released. Borgen and Bryson get an actual chance to make the roster.

- TheSabresTaco

Gonna have a very young team in Rochester when the season does start.

With everything that's happened, it would be a shock to see them paying big AHL $ for vets.

I think Reinhart for Monahan, in a vacuum, is a perfectly fine and simple trade.

It just makes zero realistic sense as you allude to above.

Isn't it more difficult to find a 2c than a jock sniffer on eichels wing?

If 36 year old pommer put up back to back 16 goal seasons, how hard it to replace Sam's 23 / 24 goals?

Kevyn Adams has been busy. Look at all the improvements made already.

Adding AHL talent.

Blockbuster trades made by two teams in the bubble while the 25th place team does nothing.

Kyle Okposo did it, wait no that didnt work
Matt Molson did it, wait that didnt work
Connor Sheary did it, nope that didnt work either
Jimmy Vesey didnt really work their either.

Seems that its proving to be very difficult to find a winger to have chemistry with Jack.

It also seems everyone fails to mention Reinharts 40 assists.

Lot of money to take on, looking at about 12 to 13mill and Saad has 1yr left on his contract.
