And they are doing a superb job of:
-alienating employees with a toxic work environment as reported by numerous ex-employees
-alienating fans who contribute hard earned money the Pegulas count on for Revenue
-alienating players with mismanagement of the organization and earning a distinction of a destination very few players would choose

They have a right to do so no doubt, most in their position would try to avoid the above at all costs.
It is a rather unique approach no doubt , lol.

They have been a trainwreck for the sabres and hit the lottery with the bills

I started to see through it a few years ago already and it becomes more apparent every year. Hopefully they hit with Adams because the warm and fuzzies about them have long worn off

This has to be the dumbest take of all time. Especially considering the bar the owners verbally set for themselves when they bought the team

Why should we settle for a product mostly not worth watching, let alone an experience worth paying to be a part of, all while the owners insult every single fan including you, by publicly doubling down on their incompetence when questioned

I'm getting too old to care if we win or lose. Buffalo sports has killed my die-hard love of the Sabres and Bills. I'm just about done with sports.

Maybe I'll snap out of it, who knows. But really, I just don't care much anymore.

I am enjoying watching the Bolts demolish the Bruins
That team is completely stacked, and Goodrow, Gourde, and Coleman are playing key roles and setting the tone for the team...great TDL acquisitions! Bogo holding his own on a Defense group playing well.
At least one of my teams is faring well.

Pegula's should call Vinik for some pointers on how to enable an organization to build a powerhouse that fans absolutely love!

So sad to see how they have turned the once proud organization into the laughing stock of the league. The team is at an all time low.
Good luck to Adams, I do hope he succeeds in spite of it all.

I hear ya, I do.

I watch the Bill's every week...but it isn't the same anymore...I've become more of a general football fan than hanging my heart on every move the Bill's make.
I'm getting close to that with the Sabres now...it won't take many more seasons of dumb move upon dumb move to dampen the once roaring fire.

I bought the NFL and NHL packages the last three years to ensure I had the games..I would tape them if I couldn't watch live...no more. Cut the cord, if the stream is available I'll watch, if not...meh.

And just because they’ve looked good without one of the best players in the game doesn’t mean they’ll sell for less then he’s worth. If you think the first guy they’re gonna ask to waive is stamkos I don’t know what to tell ya.
- SDSabre

They're going to ask for a lot. That's why I think he's the one they actually end up trading, but with his NMC, he controls the return a bit.

If you compare their 2nd and 3rd round picks over the last 8 years to ours, you'd be sick. They hit some serious home runs, but whiffed on a lot of 1st rounders. Have to draft well to win, and a get a little lucky.

If he wants to play close to home? That's all I have really as to why he would.

We brought it up because we were discussing who we think Tampa will try to trade in the offseason to shed salary.

- kingcong39

Stamkos has it made in Tampa. No reason for him to entertain thoughts of moving. Especially to a state with high taxes in an area that has less than ideal weather for an organization that hasn't made the playoffs in nine years. If he ends up somewhere other than Tampa I'd be surprised.

Helps when you keep your picks to, better chance of getting lucky. Go read the Article on The Athletic about the Sabres drafting.

I’m gonna beat the dead horse. We are crazy not to sign Vesey to a 2 year deal.
He finally started to gel with this team toward the end. He is a very valuable special teams player. He ended the season +12 on a terrible team. Why don’t we sign him?

Maybe they shoulda just hired Duds as an advisor in the very least.

But, it would seem as if he might not be able to match their hockey knowledge

That's the same logic for all of their players with no trade and no move clauses, but at least one of those players is getting moved, as I find it highly doubtful that any of Point, Cirelli, Sergachev, or Cernak are getting traded.

The more games I watch the more I think there will be lots of movement with goaltenders before next year.
The leafs, flyers, capitals, flames, oilers, knights, wild and penguins have already made it known they will fill or upgrade next year and there will be more teams talking soon.
Who do you see as the Sabres starting two next year? At first I thought it would be Ullmark number one and Hutton as backup but now I see Hutton as the backup and the upgrade will be an experienced number one through a trade.

Pure speculation but I think Terry probably is fine as an owner and Kim is the nightmare. In a recent interview Kim said how she sees she’s being called the black widow, etc and people who are saying that don’t see the real day to day operations of PEG. Well, when we see all these firings, marketing group quitting, dozens of employees and former employees bad mouthing her, well where there’s smoke there’s a fire. She’s the classic case of seeing herself as an underdog, taking too much on, being a control freak and fcking things up beyond belief

Why in the world would you be souring on the Bills now? They’re the best they’ve been in 25 years With a lot of high character guys and a coach and GM who seem to be beyond the Pegula web.

Now The Sabres are a disaster, sucking the life out of us every year

I love john vogl's work. However, no matter what the spin, Buffalo's drafting has been weak.

Alex Tuch is continuing to make it less and less likely he's going anywhere but Vegas.

You know Kim Pegula, President and ceo of Pegula sports and entertainment has spoken with Kim Pegula, President of the Buffalo Bills, as well as Kim Pegula, President of the Buffalo Sabres and they all completely disagree with this statement....
