Boterill got basically nothing for ROR.

2 cap dumps, a C/C- level prospect and a pick that turned into a c level prospect.

Fits his c and D level player narrative though.

- ImThatGuy

It is debatable what percentage of the blame falls on botterill for that

Either way its brutal

I’m hoping some dumb GM out there thinks he can be a 20+ goal scorer & we can pull off a “Nylander for Jokiharju” type trade with him

Although I’ll admit that’s quite wishful thinking with our rookie GM who has zero experience

- jdfitz77

I kind of want to see him play, still young big body that can really skate, with a good shot and puck skills

Glad that you have come through it. I mean no I’ll wi for anyone.

My main point is that maybe people should try seeing things from a. Different viewpoint.

A great book that we read in my profession is A Framework For Understanding Poverty. It talks about studies that have been done comparing people from lower, middle, and upper class American society. A lot of the assumptions we have is based upon where and how we were raised. It would be foolish to assume that everyone has had the same experiences.

Some (including Jesus) would say that they are people first.

I guess you haven’t done anything stupid drunk before. And accusations are accusations before proven in a court. That’s the law of the land.

Not sure why those things change when I your opinion blacks do it. Imagine if you had some chick accuse you of something that you didn’t do. That’s what I’m saying. Put yourself in someone else’s shoes for a few minutes and consider it. You would come across as a more thinking and compassionate person than coming across as an internet know it all.

In a straight line maybe

His skating the last i saw (1 Rochester game this season), still needs quite a bit of work

And he doesn’t use his big body to play physically
And I’ll believe his shot is actually good when he starts scoring in the NHL

I’d trade him in a heartbeat if it involved getting a good player or prospect back

Where in there do you get that. I take it as he has seen some bad stuff. I for one have certain groups of clients I hate dealing with. It’s based on experience. I take them all on but I am more hesitant with certain groups of clients. And I am an engineer. It’s not about racism it’s about experiences.

Did you see my response on the last page about it being a two way street and how rioting, looting and retaliatory actions make it worse?

- SabresFaninIndiana

Good pint apple. But here the problem. Many (including our posters) seem to conflate all blacks people with the looters and the rioters. People can be for equality and against rioting.

Like for instance the what about isms that so and so shouldn’t protest or whatever because they don’t care about the gun violence in Chicago. Guy getting killed with a knee to the neck has NoTHing to do with the gun violence in Chicago .

So you want to give benefit of doubt to accused rapist but instantly accuse the police officer getting attacked by someone who had a knife. Interesting...

Speed is speed, something we still lack throughout the lineup

Hard to say without seeing him, but i would not be mad if he was traded either

His shot is good as in, quick release with some good pop on it. Scoring in the NHL is much more than just that though

Guy that got killed with a knee to neck, the murder was arrested for murder 40 hours later. Yet people claim no justice? Do people want the cop hanged in a public square? he got arrested exactly how our justice system works

What’s interesting is that your narratives continue to assert that ppl who were SHOT IN THE BACK were “attacking” or posing imminent danger to Police officers at the time

That’s utterly ridiculous

There is video of the incident 🙄🙄. It would take 1 minute to watch instead of spreading lies over and over to fit a fake narrative

CONVICTION and SENTENCE handed out are “justice”
Not just an arrest

And Chauvan was arrested 4 days later,
not 40 hours later

But all it would have taken to stop the incident was listening. He didn't deserve to be shot 7 times, but put some of the blame where it should be too.

They made their minds up instantly. It’s so easy for news sources to get them frothing at the mouth by putting out a narrative before facts come out.

George Zimmerman
Michael Brown
Nick Sandman
Now Blake

All instances of fake narratives getting everyone worked up. Once facts come out they are still ignored by these people because they are too dumb or too selfish to admit they are wrong

People are innocent until proven guilty. Now you have a problem with trials by peers? That’s what court is for. A foundation of our constitution and country. Man you are crazy...

That's great that you would have waited to see what he had in the car. Your policing career would be very short. Like the politician who thought he could do better than cops, went to a shooting course and shot more innocent "people" than anyone else.
