I understand Laughton has not got his game yet, but in the round robin, Laughton-Hayes-TK was our best line. That's just 6 game ago.

Is it the best way to stick a guy like that on the 4th line?

Not a great start......Konecny is getting his chances....but coots and G are not skating at all. These guys have disappeared offensively. But it’s only one period...still time here boys. Let’s get her going.

Starting to wonder if G is injured. He’s been completely invisible more games than not.

I really don't know why some fans always want to focus and place the blame on one player.
- MJL

I ain’t placing blame solely on him just recognizing the difference i notice in team D when he’s in the lineup. The wins and losses speak for themselves which is why he found himself outside of the top 6

G teeks and maybe coots. Oh well. Only down one. Let’s see if av can make adjustments. I kind of expected this. We may be in for a long series here. By long I mean short

zero shots the last 12 minutes of the period. Outside of Hart, all 18 players sucked.
- PLindbergh31

Need to skate....d is not playing well in their own zone, but wingers need to move their azz to the hash marks so the break out actually works. It’s not about what islanders are doing....it’s what the Flyers aren’t.

No excuses. If he's on the ice he has to produce. If they go meekly in this series and he does nothing he's going to get shredded

Did you notice the team D in the 3rd period of game 6 in the Montreal series when the Flyers completely shut down the Habs and Gostisbehere had heavy ice time in that period?

I don’t know but he’s definitely not a factor in these games so far.

Nah who cares. The guys is locked 🔒 in on his big leadership. Looks like they bought in and was on the same page in that first period.

One period doesn't make a series. Have to make adjustments and start getting things going offensively. If the rest of this game looks like the first period it is an awful sign.

I think Laughton must be hurt. He’s invisible since Habs and you always notice Laughton’s effort or edge. Haven’t seen it in a while

I think Vinny has already started....10 minutes in G was moved back with Coots and Jake....that was quick.

How about the 2nd where he had so much success during the regular season and the RR?

New series, right?

What about the team D in back to back shutouts without Ghost, Niskanen gets a misconduct and he was the in the line up because they had to. Hagg Braun is a better pairing, they are used to eachother and the play on ice reflects it. I love ghost. His 65 point season was as excited as I’ve been about a player since watching Giroux turn into what we all thought he could.

Nah, it has nothing to do with the Flyers best players not playing like their best players. Nothing to do with not matching the intensity and effort of the opposition. It's just a bad match up for us. The Isles aren't as good as us defensively. They're a fast skating hard forechecking team. Give the Isles credit. Blah, blah, blah.
- MJL

You and I have been in agreement with this. The Flyers don’t look anything like the team from before the pause that was always better conditioned then the opposition.
