This is the only political thing I’ll add on here. The POTUS is a republican in only the most superficial of terms. An actual republican who is honest with themselves would be embarrassed of this. We gotta stop acting like this is normal. This isn’t liberal vs conservative, because we don’t have either as POTUS right now. If tony D was posting things about corporate tax rates and balancing budgets, no one would give a crap (I’d honestly love to see that). But what he’s retweeting is divisive and misleading and is exactly what it’s intended to be by the trolls who created it. So that’s why people have problems.

Now I know you’re probably thinking to yourself, “but Picklerick, LiBeRaLs ArE SuPpoSeD tO bE tOlErAnT.” I urge you to google the tolerance paradox to understand why that’s nonsense in this case.

Yes it’s a factor in whether he is going to be on this team because he’s not the only one on the team and we don’t know how it impacts the locker room. Of course hockey and business also factor in equally

Honestly I wanted to move on for purely selfish reasons. Politics is kinda my jam and it’s hard for me to just let things go unchecked. If anyone ever wanted to have a (mostly) respectful conversation outside of HB about that poop I’d be down as hell

Biggest problem in this country is the selective outrage and moral superiority by many.
