He needs to change minds this year. Just looks like a near Kindl like 1st rounder

Waiting for Cholowski to emerge is like leaving the porch light on for Jimmy Hoffa. He was drafted in 2016. Look what Chychrun or even Hronek have done since. They were all taken in the same draft.

I don't see Cholowski being any better than he is right now. He'll get plenty of chances to catch on somewhere else because that's what happens with first round picks. It just won't be in Detroit in my opinion.

You may be right on Ras, I’ll take a look. Germany is becoming a bit of a hotbed. I’m not familiar with MG, I’ll take a look! Thanks, as always. Nice take

There are only 2 very short videos on youtube of MG (basically the same footage of him in practice and a game) but it really doesn't show much. He didn't make the Germany WJC roster last year and apparently some were upset he was left off as they felt he should have been. Since there really doesn't seem to be much out there on him he could be an underrated mid draft pick. I would hope Yzerman got to see some of him while he went there for Stutzle.

Yzerman is so impressive with scouting. Way more hands on than a lot of GMs. Hopefully an influx of German talent will make LCA get better sauerkraut. I love some good sauerkraut man

Except Kindl was actually an NHLer. Cholowski still has the hopes of potential so he retains some value for a team not looking for him to be an NHLer this season.

Yeah Cholo will be a throw-in on a trade for a player of need.
