Depends on how much money he wants. Like you said, you can rattle off several names that can score 55-60 points.

More so playing with Eichel

They have plenty of options that don't include being forced into a 1 year deal with Reinhart, and they will never offer him a 2 year deal, as that would be abject stupidity.

As Lunaion put it, there's a ton of risk if he goes the year to year route. It's why they have such a low likelihood on the 1 year deal.

All of the above is why I've believed for a while that they are trading Reinhart this offseason.
