Back when big trades were made, they wanted a good center they went and put together a package and got a great one, Dale Hawerchuk.

They weren't getting what they wanted in Turgeon they got LaFontaine


You don't remain stagnant and keep wingers just because. Reinhart and something for what they need to shore up this team.

That sucks

I still remember one of the greatest, most unheralded goals of all time - and he scored it. Dale was behind the oppositions net and one of our D-men sent the puck along the boards to the back of the net where Hawerchuk was being checked. In one motion, he deflected the incoming puck back OVER the net and goalie, and he raced out front and whacked the bouncing puck past the startled goalie. I believe it was a backhander too. He did it on purpose and it was amazing. Clearly one of the most impossible, greatest skilled goals - ever.

Anybody else remember that ? It's one that should be on a YouTube list of greatest goals ever.

This all lands on the Pegulas. They fired Regier and George McFly and had a plan. They brought in LaFontaine and Ted Nolan.

They should have listened to LaFontaine, and let him have the reigns.

Thats they Reason why he resigned he had Contracts for Ryan Miller and ott and realized he didn't have any power to make any decisions so think god on that

There is a longer Tweet on someone else's where it says that and adds I hear it from my son's baseball team, I think he said he hears it from basically everyone. You get the sense that he meant that it is nothing new to him, he knows he has to get this team better.

if we kept him and biron we would have been a better team instead of 65 games of miller and a sieve for a back up


he played 7 seasons as a sabre goalie, was all world for 2/3 of a season and average the other 6 seasons
