Again, and again, and again.

I don’t know what the stats are but it seems like North American born goalies win the vast majority of Cups.

I can’t cheer for the Bruins because... well they’re the Bruins.
Everyone is saying the right thing about Rask leaving but I doubt if that’s how they really feel. It leaves them with a backup who hasn’t played an nhl game.

If a zamboni driver can beat your team this one should be ok for the playoffs.

(Most teams losing their starting G in playoffs become the underdog).

I’m watching game 7 highlights from last season. Go (frank) yourselves. I’m a Blues fan 1st.

Ok well it's the 19-20 season. You can stop the victory lap anytime. Matter of fact looks like the Canucks are about to put you out your misery anyways.

Rask has been the best goalie of the franchise and a large part the successes this team has had since 2011. I think that part needs to remembered. Like it or not there is also the parts of his legacy that are undeniable in which he has not performed in key situations when needed most Games 3-7 vs Phi 2010, Game 6 vs Chi 2013, Game 7 2019 vs Stl. 2 of 3 those are not 100% his fault either but if it's team loss that makes him a part of it. Combine with the weird unexplained disappearance last season and now this.

I know the team, staff, front office are saying "the right things" to the media but how could there not be some animosity from some guys. Whatever the reasons may be, Tuukka Rask bailed on his team. It's a disappointing and I would like to see the Bruins move on from him. It will be a distraction to the team and as a teammate could you really look at the guy and trust him?

Whatever one may think of Rask's decision or his reasons, this is probably the end of the Rask era in Boston. The clock is ticking on this roster's core to win another Cup.

Exactly. Chara, Beregeron, Krejci, Rask Marchand not far behind. There is time with the exception of Chara left but not a ton. I don't see how you can keep Rask on the team after this barring the fact it was family emergency. If it is a family why not just say so and save face?

They have ~ 3-4 year window when Marchand's current contract expires.

For Rask - hard to say what happens going forward. He has one more year under contract - entirely possible he plays that last year.

And... what is Pasta's injury? Is he playing?

I would say 3 at the most. As for Pasta? Who knows? The Bruins won't release anything until after the playoffs. The guy could be double amputee and they'll tell us "Lower Body Injury" until after the postseason

Looked to me like it happened during the attempted celebration jump after Bergy's OT goal. He seemed to wince on his jump and then gingerly skated over to Bergy.

The players negotiated for that in the new CBA. Teams can’t disclose injury details anymore. Not fit to play is all we get now.

Be that as it may. The Bruins have always been tight lipped about it.
