Also shout out to Strome for blocking the shot that was headed for a wide open net, big assist in the win

Not sure how you can say they deserved to win game 3 - like tonite, they were totally dominated 5x5 - if not for Crawford (like tonite) it would have been an ugly score.

MAF wasn’t barely tested - he had to make a couple of nice saves, as all goalies do every game - but he had very little Chicago pressure on him.

That's your opinion. I have the same opinion on last nights game as Rick. Debrincat was robbed a number of times and Kane missed and open net.

That is what you call a goalie win. Thank you Corey. We get at least one more game - yeah baby!

You’re right - my opinion - based on my eyes and the facts.

Every basic metric 5x5 was heavily dominated by Vegas - CF, SOG, SC, HDSC - as has been true for all four games.

AdB was stiffed by MAF a couple of times last game - Crawford stopped almost the whole VGK team both nights.

I’d say AdB has been the second best Hawk for two games now, but without Crawford, both games would have been over half way through the second period.

They did not “deserve” to win either game - glad they got one.

It’s a pizza sized chocolate chip cookie lol

Figured as much though it's been years since I've had a Za from the Hut. If I had to guess, it's probably better than what they try to pass off as pizza.

I can't imagine as an IT/AM it's your go to for pizza either. FFS I hope not.

MAF had many more difficult and reaction type saves to make last night than Lehner did tonight.

In hockey, 'deserving a win' is a meaningless point of discussion, the scoreboard rules, not Corsi or Fenwick or zone time or shots on goal. I didn't hear the Avs coach say his team deserved to win yesterday after Keumper made 49 saves.

This is certainly correct - hockey is different in that way.

Last night I had the good fortune to get the Canadian broadcast of the game instead of the 3 clowns (led by Pierre McGuire) that I had to listen to tonight who every freaking minute kept updating the shots on goal advantage Vegas had in the game. I 'deserved' better broadcasting tonight but didn't get it.

And hockey isn't the only game where the deserving to win sentiment is meaningless - lets say you and I are playing golf in a tournament for big money. I hit every fairway and every green and 2 putted every green to shoot even par. You, on the other hand, make 9 horrible bogies, 8 birdies and pull off an eagle at the last hole to beat me by a shot. Didn't I really deserve to win?

I do believe the Guvnah granted a stay of execution. Court will reconvene Tuesday at 9:30.

More importantly, one of the 5 guys killing off the last minute of a one-goal lead. That's HUGE. Says a lot about his defensive responsibilities. He deserved that empty netter. He plays hard. I like the kid!

No problem with Dinky Cat's effort. Nylander is the guy I'd be happy to see in another team's jersey next year...or in the 'A'.

DeBrincat may not have been getting the results we want, but his play has been fine. He should be fine next year and the remainder of his deal.

Nylander is still learning. Because of the cap situation they’ll keep him around at least one more season.

Tracks with what I thought. He looked 'off' throughout the game. Boqvist is jittery with the puck (to my eyes), though understandable. Right now, he's the opposite of a young Hammer that just ate hard hit after hard hit rather than throw the puck away or get out of the way of a speeding train.

I think where I seem to be missing something is on Murphy--I read lot of negativity on him, yet I'm simply not seeing it. He looks fine to me.

Nylander's apparent (or perceived) lack of effort is what concerns me.

Nylander’s play has been less than ideal. Hopefully he learns from this post season or Stan trades him for a decent return, like Georgiev.
