To be clear, that's not necessarily what Shanny means. He's not talking about a bunch of Roman Polaks. He's saying mental toughness and determination. I didn't see Spezza on that list of tough guys Dubas acquired but I'm not sure that anybody played with more determination.

Also, cool if you get it from your 3rd and 4th lines but if its not coming from your big guns, forget it. I know the views are mixed but I think it was there throughout from Matthews.

Matthews was throwing his weight around this series. The guy played with determination all series, and was easily the best player every night.

Kerfoot is a feisty bugger. And he didn’t get suspended. Great trade Dubas. Barrie be damned.

Yes I watched & yes AM banged but could do more. I only meant Kerfoot tried his best all the time. A 3C who wanted it & not paid superstar money. I didn’t mean to take anything away from AM. He was the Leafs best player.
