The jackets are more likely to get him resigned and try to rebuild his value than dump him at his value bottom out. Especially considering the guys they've already had walk from that team.

Dubas wouldn't have liked that at the time but I gotta think he'd be willing to listen now. Pesce is on a really nice deal for a top4 RHD. I just doubt Carolina is interested as much as they were then.
