I like our team and don’t agree fully with a lot of what critics say about it but having a cost controlled player like that is exactly what this team needs. Also, it would be just like the Islanders to win a cup with an asterisk next to it.

If Nashville blows it up, I don't see them as good trade partners with us. The only player that is interesting to me is Mattias Ekholm as a LHD upgrade to Smith and he is on a better contract...

Im going from Eks silly post that NJ gonna offer Subban (plus retained salary) and a 1st to TOR for Nylander.

I like our team and don’t agree fully with a lot of what critics say about it but having a cost controlled player like that is exactly what this team needs. Also, it would be just like the Islanders to win a cup with an asterisk next to it.

I was half joking. Any team that wins the cup will earn it these playoffs these games are insane. I thought they may be a little less competitive under the circumstances. Tomorrow’s game will most likely be a shat show after the Lee hit. With that said I would still take first overall over being in it😂
