Right? He was actually battling for pucks and he was directly involved in their only goal.... - obie
It'll take a lot more to redeem all of his bad games but it's a start...at least he's battling from time to time. |

Absolutely.... I didn't become a huge fan overnight by any means but I'm not gonna whip on him when it's undeserved! |

there was no reason for Price to slide out of his crease like he did, he overplayed the shot and got caught by the deflection...I think that's what Karine is saying.
Price was spectacular last night, I am sure he would like to play the Farabee goal differently if he had the opportunity but this is a fast game and there is no time to think most of the time. - Symba007
Farabee unmolested in front of the net - don't see how that is on Price.

I don't see it either. Price made the first save. Mark your man or clear the puck. Fans expect Price to do everything on that team. |

After seeing the replay again, I do see what Karine was saying. Price is a little lazy right when there is a chance of trouble brewing. See the 19 sec mark here from behind the goal cam
But I think he bears 5% blame for that goal. |

Tatar, Drouin and Armia have been VERY disappointing so far this summer. I am more concerned for the first two, their job is to produce offensively and they really suck (Drouin for a long time).

Armia was involved last night and had some chances. but he's not a guy you can count on for primary offense. Drouin was so so. Tatar has been a huge disappointment. he's been invisible. |

Price/Kulak are both out of position there. wouldn't say it's laziness. they were caught off guard. that was a high-percentage, up-the-boards play you make 100 times per night that should have resulted in an easy zone clear. |

Yup there you go. I’m sure he would like to have played it differently but in no way am I blaming him for the loss. Just making sure to give a fair assessment of the game |

Tatar needed to go before, it would be completely ridiculous to lock him up long term now |

Maybe a guy left alone in front of him just deflected a puck and took his own return
Seem beyond stupid to even remotly blame Price on that, WTF !
to me the blame goes on the winger that didnt fight much for the puck on the bad pass, I think it was Byron. |

I'm not sure it was a "bad pass" from Chiarot. He's trying to clear the puck along the boards (pretty standard play), but Byron doesn't anticipate or is out of position and misses the puck which goes to the Flyers player at the point. That and Kulak doesn't cover his guy. |

i only saw it live and then a few replays but i thought carey was maybe just sliding to the right to stop the initial puck but then farabee deflected it down and a little left at his feet so he had to make a quick reaction save on that and it's tough to control a rebound when all that happens so fast.
