Drysdale and Raymond will still look pretty good for them

If Drysdale landed with us that would be like striking gold we have a Scott niedermeyer

If Ottawa happens to double dip at forward Drysdale will most likely be Anaheim bound.

They have guys like Terry, Steel, Zegras, Comtois and I think I read somewhere that they have only taken 2 d-men with their last 17 picks.

Anaheim could definitely look at Raymond/Holtz though as well if they want a winger for Zegras

I don’t think there really is anything wrong with Sanderson the prospect.

We just need a forward at this point.

It could be possible you never know Senators might go both forward and the ducks might take another forward and then boom...

Lots of Buffalo fans will be unhappy but hes the best player available

Donato is not really that good I don’t get the hype.

He’s a third liner who’s 24 already this is who he is.

I don’t think it’s 100% Coyle would’ve extended here though

(frank)ing Jack (frank)ing Edwards at it again 😅😅😂😂

He has to be wearing clown shoes from dawn till dusk with his poop takes.

What NBC hasn’t shown yet, regarding the unfortunate injury to Svechnikov: the Carolina wing playing hobby-horse, riding Chara on the back apron of the goal. You poke the bear, you take your chances. No one wanted to see Svechnikov hurt, but he bit off more than he could chew.

I couldn’t disagree more. I’ve always thought when Kadri became available the Sabres should have made a deal that would have brought him to fill their biggest need, a 2c. He has grit, can play both offence and defence and would have been Skinners main man.
Without a doubt if Kadri were on the team today we would be watching playoff hockey.
That’s how close I think they are. It’s total BS to blame goaltending more than secondary scoring. Watching the playoffs now there is some good and bad goaltending from these playoff teams but the teams that are hanging in there have at least 2 or 3 lines that can supply offence.
The Sabres relied way too much on one line scoring and it wasn’t a secret to smother that and they were done.

They were 25th place team that was actively chasing down 26, perhaps even 27th.

This season 24 teams made the playoffs, they added 50% to the normal 16.
They were nowhere near a playoff team.

If Montreal wins the Stanley Cup would you at least say the Sabres are closer than you thought. If only they would have played that last regular season night against the habs. You just never know.

During this season did the sabres ever overachieve like the habs have done in the last 6 games?

or get all star goaltending for a 6 game stretch?

or play a solid 60 minute game for a 6 game stretch?

The last stretch where the Sabres sucked ...,.. Eichel was also hurt. Yes, he played but had like 2 points and was a -10 or something close to that

If Eichel was Eichel the mvp and not hurt. Things could’ve been different
