Skinner not scoring a minimum of 40 goals a year gives us negative value at that cap hit.

He doesn’t PK, isn’t useful on the PP, and is not good defensively.

Opinion A: Skinner could have been better this year.

I really am not going to lose sleep because skinner got .38 goals per game even strength with rask a few years ago, and got .24 even strength goals per game with johansson, sobotka or e rod as his linemates this season

He's basically there. He was ranked #6 this year. This is a discussion for next year if he demands a trade because we still suck.

The Sabres also played their best stretch of hockey during his tenure when he wasn't in the lineup, and it wasn't even close. That's why people dog him, and deservedly so.
