my daughter has an Autism Center called The Purple Door Academy. Its located in Indiana, she is a US Board Certified Human Behavior Analyst. They have 10 kids in her program. Each child has a program designed specifically for them. It makes a tremendous difference in the kids and the parents lives. She is a wonderful young lady.

It was terrible because there was never enough money for the full intensive behavioural programming and the wait lists were so long. Once kids were on, their counsellors never wanted to graduate them out even though the kids waiting would benefit more at a younger age.

There just wasn’t enough money and nobody wanted to move to the school based less intensive programming.

I always told my kids, if they ever felt intimated by a cop. To look at the cop and say "you are here to help me right?"

They have to say yes..if they say no, record them

Here's a true Bobby is No One story, when my oldest son was 4 my youngest was 2, the four year old went downstairs took his mothers lighter while she was watching The Young And The Restless, he took the lighter to his bedroom and lit his bed on fire.
Now remember he was 4, he went and took his little brother outside, wouldn't let him stay inside.
I was at work , and of course here comes the emergency call.
I get home and the cops ask me if I want them to put my son in the back seat for a good talking to, can you guess what I said?

So proud of her. She has built an amazing center to help these kids. She has room for 12 kids but needs to find 3 more qualified employees. These workers have 6+ years of University. All about helping the kids.
