I don't think I missed out on anything by not pursuing hockey. I may have made more money. I don't really care to get into it either, it is what it is.

Meh...it was fun growing up but I played with and against many former NHL players and it’s a grind. I didn’t put on skates for twenty years after I quit and went to university.

Buffalo is a good example of what a poor dressing room culture gets you...no accounability. They are going no where fast.

Leafs had a first overall pick in AM's year...take him away from the group and I don't view their six other drafts as anything special except for the Marner pick. They were also bad for a really long time and had a bunch of younger support pieces in place by the time Marner and AMs were in the line up.

With a number 5, 7, 23 pick the Canucks were able to draft QH, EP40 and Boeser - pretty solid haul in my opinion (would take that core over Buffalo, TO or Calgary all day long). The Avs group is very good and hopefully will have their hands full with the Canucks over the next four years.

I can't say that I hate the Canucks chances in this series. I certainly wouldn't sleep on the Blues, but Vancouver has done a pretty good job holding their own against them the past couple seasons.

At the very least, I see it going 6-7 games.

Who are your predictions for series unsung heroes? I really liked Tanev's performance in every game against Minny, and it would be great if he can keep it up and stay healthy.

I think the goaltending should shine for both sides (not exactly going out on a limb with that prediction).

Really depends on which Blues team shows up, the disinterested one or the Cup Champions one. IMO for us to have a sniff we need them to be looking past us.
