Pens will win the lottery. GMJR will want to trade the pick for superstar Jack Johnson. After being informed that they already have Jack Johnson, GMJR will trade him away to the Flyers for a 7th so that he can trade the first overall for Jack Johnson. He'll kill 2 birds with one stonr by finally trading for Jack Johnson AND stealing a superstar from the Flyers for some unknown quantity.

Wow, and I thought I was going to have to turn in my Pens fan card for wanting the Flyers to beat Boston and/or Washington if it comes to it. Maybe even Tampa, too. Can't stand those guys.

I agree with TOR, but my bigger worry is NYR. Anyone but those two and I'll be happy, especially not NYR.

Centers are so damn valuable. I would draft them like QBs in the NFL. Just keep drafting them high until you get a really good one. Of course, many centers at lower levels can't hack it as centers in the NHL, so then you're just hoping they'll be able to convert to winger and that they'll be NHL-quality there.

There are 7 guys I like in that range and 4 are centers. The 5th is a defenseman that will likely be gone because it's a weak draft for defensemen. Then a power forward. But my favorite is Jack Quinn. RH sniper who is a late bloomer which makes him a wildcard but 52 goals in 62 games. The Athletic writers have him 14th and 15th.
