That's NOT what I said...I said it would take Mariner and Reilly for Seth Jones. THAT was the question I was answering..but whatever.. - ThundernLightning
I asked you if you would trade Eichel, Dalhin and a pick for Jones.
You're response was "damn right I would". |

I wonder if the NFL are rethinking their views after seeing the kind of mess the MLB is in. - Scabeh
I sincerely doubt they are.
From everything I've read, the NFL's attitude is "We can have a season, because we have more money than the other leagues."
Hint: the virus doesn't give two poops about your fantastic TV ratings.
I think it's going to be a giant, embarrassing poopshow.
I've been loving the dance going on for college football - no students on campus, but football will go on? Not that anyone ever believed they were "student athletes" - but it's completely exposed the hypocrisy.
Has anyone heard what MLS is proposing for the rest of the year? What are the three Canadian teams going to do? |

you want to replace the NHL players with borderline NHL players...thats pretty bad
they had to move Marleau to continue with the push...its silly to suggest trading off 3 players to use fills ins to keep Marleau.. - senstroll
Its a bad idea to trade decent young players and keep an aging over the hill player? Are you sure?
If only we had Federov as GM he would have made the Leafs a strong success this year.

Well they should just draft a ball live on TV.
But I expect Bill Daly to just turn around a piece of cardboard to make everything more shady. - Scabeh
Sure hope the heavy weighted ball has the Leaf logo on it. Imagine the posting on this thread after that happens. |

And you're the same guy that said Leafs fans were saying Nylander for Jones. Yet, when called out on it you have no proof to back up your claim. |

NHl will freak-out if Oilers win. They actually changed the lottery due to Edmonton winning so much, and in the end gave them another first round pick.
I am not in the corner of the idea tanking was such an issue at all. Just give it to Detroit.

So question I posted last week (from a suggestion my friend from the NHL made):
If you win the #1, do you try to trade it to Ottawa for their #3 and #5?
And do you think Ottawa would do it? |

I think the MLS plan was making their tournament (who worked great btw) that would count as regular season games and then have a shortened season and then the playoffs.
No idea how they'll pull it off. |

BTW, Jones is leaving Columbus. Book it... |

Marner, Reilly and a pick now?
GTFO with your bullpoop.
My turn now:
Sabres trade Jack Eichel, Rasmus Dahlin, and a second round pick the Columbus for Seth Jones.
How's that sound to you?
- Kinger34
For a #1D who is going to be a Norris Candidate for the next decade and...maybe even a Hart Candidate??
youre damn well right...
My damn well right answered the "Marner, Reilly and a pick now" question. I blatently stated that you would trade those two straight up for Eichel and Dahlin. But whatever you think there, champ.
To make it clear Id never trade our Hart Candidate center and Norris candidate D for Seth Jones, and certainly not for Marner and Reilly. I think this makes it clear. Im done for today. The inability of some of you to comprehend points has exhausted me. Good luck tonight. Lafrienierre is exactly the grit the Leafs nesd. |

I want Winnipeg - Symba007
1st choice, Leafs
2nd choice: Minnesota, because nobody likes them or cares and they're in the west
3rd choice: Preds, because they're also in the west, and although it would make them significantly better, that doesn't scare me as much as...
4th choice: edmonton because they'd be a godamn good team if they get lafreniere and their poop together but it would be fun to watch
5th choice: winnipeg, because i have a friend who is an insufferable jets fan, like the roger of the jets
6th choice: Rangers, not in our division, but still in the east
7th choice: Pittsburgh, not in our division, still in the east, lafreniere with crosby and guentzel no thx
8th choice: Panthers, in our division, beastly top line, if bobrovsky bounces back and their defense gets a bit better then that's scary |

Buffalo doesn't have any hart or Norris candidates.

So keep in mind I know nothing about junior players, but from what I understand people think he can step in and help the team immediately.
So grab him, trade Marner and Nylander, elevate Robertson (no doubt Marner and Nylander >> Robertson and Lafrenierre), and take the money to sign a couple of defencemen.
Team looks different next year, which is needed. |
