These long overtime will favour TB in the end I think. Way more depth. |

90percent of kids should suffer because of bad parents of 10percent of the rest - that's your world view. - MaximusAurelius
To be fair ..if hockeybuzz operated like your version of the school system then you'd be removed from this blog and shoved in Tanner's blog with Kaptaan, Uggy, and the rest of the "10%". |

TB-CBJ double OT now. Pretty much all Tampa last 10 minutes. Korpisalo keeping them in the game. - gergeswillems

He's making the saves but it looks to me like he's fighting the puck a lot.
Didn't bobble it nearly as much against the Leafs. |

Even as the series goes on, it favours Tampa. These guys play 1 exhibition game after a 4 month layoff then jumped into the fray. How many 30-40 min nights does Jones have in him? |

Hate to be a nitpicker but a tomahawk has the bone.
Its also way to big of a steak for me. - bobbyisno1
Oh I know it has the bone but it's awesome to sear and cook and makes my Richard look bigger when I'm serving it up to the wife. It's just a fancy ribeye.
I heat the (frank) out of my cast iron pan in the oven then put it on the stove top on high flame ...sear both sides (oiled n salted) then drop it back in the oven at max heat for 5 mins. Pure perfection.....
Although it smokes the hell out of the kitchen and makes a mess of the stove top.
But ya, for a nice easy grilling ...it's the ribeye for me. Primerib is nice though too ..just not enough marbling for me. |

I'm Rogers but I've got the CLB-TB game on Sportsnet Ontario. TV says Dallas-Calgary but they were showing the TB game. Currently in intermission. |

I think he's the best Dman in the league, my opinion only.
He's played for Nashville.... and Columbus under Torts. His point totals on a team like the Leafs would be absurd. |

My Dad swore that some skill-less team would win the Cup this year b/c he pointed out that high skills are the last thing to come back after a long layoff.
Not sure whether that'll play out but there's definitely some advantage to the teams that muck it up.

Is it the 8 year olds fault that they're hitting teachers? Usually not unless there's a condition such as autism involved.
To me you want to give that 8 year old every opportunity to turn it around and be successful. For many kids school is an escape from home life. If that little person is going to be a member of society for 60+ years then you may as well help them be a productive one.
8 (frank)ing years old. - golfingsince
No, it's the parents fault.
Still - the article mentions the substitute teacher wasnt aware of the special needs status of the kid. So while you are assuming autism - I'm assuming the kid is just a friggin spoiled brat with 0 manners taught by his parents. There was obviously no need for the police here - but cursing and hitting the teacher isn't something the school should be obliged to tolerate, nor something the other kids should be exposed to.
We're not talking about a kid with Down syndrome here - we're talking about a 'difficult kid' (most of the time parents fault) who gets qualified as 'special needs" because more funds are made available to the school through subsidies.. |
