Getting you in the door is just the start of the corporate wallet workout.

There are restaurants all over the building, where nobody is paying for their own meal.

Luxury boxes everywhere, in the bowl and beneath the stands (that's why nobody is in their seats in the platinums at the start of the period - you are finishing up your food and drinks in your own private corporate box beneath the stands).

It's franking obscene the money that flows through the building on game nights from corporate coffers.

One other weird note: I have read several times, but still do not know if it is official, but from what I understand, hockey jersey sales go into an NHL pot. So Vancouver (and Florida) make as much from the sale of a Tavares jersey as Toronto does (small exception: if the Leafs sell it in their building, they get to keep the retail markup).

It's all good, Antonio. Rangers will always be my team, but I'm done with New Yorkers - well at least their hockey fans. Life's too short for that kinda garbage! I've been in here for a year, and occasionally in other blogs... Hell, I even raid the Habs thread from time to time.

I haven't seen that level of corporate largess but i've been privy to some of it.......even for a WHL game. It dropped significantly out west in 2009.

That's not what you're arguing. You're arguing that 'normal kids' (whatever the (frank) that means) should not have to educate with kids who have disabilities.

And it's too late in my day to get into an issue like that.

My kids are healthy and privileged (knock on wood) and being exposed to kids from all walks of life (including kids with disabilities that might lead to something like this) is not a bad thing ...it's a very good thing. The world is not for just the 'normal'. Best that they/we learn to cope and live together.
