Teams are cutting off ice operations, exec pay cuts, etc.... maybe they do make some player trades based on money alone, but someone has to be on the other side to take the contract. The league also has rules around lopsided trades and has stopped deals in some cases because of this.

social workers only making things worse - constantly coming up with excuses for the bad mannered kids and their families.
you have to set priority to take care of the other normal kids in class - can't have a (frank)ing bad mannered kid take over the whole class dynamics. doesn't matter if the kid is 6-7-8 y old - swearing and hitting a teacher means he should be banned from that school.

According to NHL.com the leafs were bigger than CLB.

The idea that CLB is some big fore-checking, hitting machine is nonsense. What they did was shut down the neutral zone to perfection and when the Leafs gained the zone they crammed the crease and gave the Leafs nothing but open looks from the point.

Leafs needed to do better with point shots. The one place the Leafs could have done better (and likely need some new personnel to do it) is winning puck battles in front of the net ...occupying those CLB defenders. JT and Hyman are really the only guys in the top 9 that do that well.
