I cheer for the Coyotes for several reasons

- Phil the Thrill
- Marian Hossa
- No General Manager
- Matthews roomers after they win

- TheMussel

I’d love the Yotes to win the cup.

*remembers when people said I was crazy that MacKinnon and Barkov would adjust better to the NHL than Drouin*

We waz kangz bixy

Yup, Always said Mac would be far better than Drouin. Too soft. Like Marner and Willie.

Like he'd pull a George Costanza on life?
- TheMussel

No. James would double down and say he believed in something else...or luck...or something.

Fridge compairing a “bold move” Dubas might make the the Raptors bit trade.

Trading a well liked superstar by Teammates, fans and the community.

Marner is the guy he thinks they would trade, but at this point doesn’t see it happening.

Did Wendel take a shot at JT with those 'leadership' comments about Foligno?

If the Blues win again then it's like this 'year' didn't even happen.

Sounds perfect to me.

Marner really ruined his relationship with fans with that horsepoop negotiation.

Is this a joke about how the Coyotes have very few fans or how their population will begin slowly dwindling because of covid?

It's still creepy that Marchand is a 40ish point rat...trains with Crosby and becomes a 90-100 point player. MacKinnon is in a rut and seems to be middling at the 40-60 range...trains with Crosby and becomes arguably a top-5 player in the NHL.

Who is his next Brotégé?

They do train together at the 4 plex out near Marchand's home. A very good friend is the General Manager of the facility. Interesting stories.

Not sure. I will go check them out if there is a break before they play again.

If they play again this year...

Ok, so who do Toronto fans root for now? (on average)

Do you pull for a Canadian team like Calgary?

Do you pull for an underdog like Montreal?

Do you pull for Tampa because of Stamkos and his Ontario connection?

Or do you just say "phuck it" and get drunk and root for somebody based on other personal reasons?

- GalacticStone

Edmonton is out.
So i have no rooting interest.

If they ever make it to the Leafs, it will be at the tail-end of their careers and Stamkos will be playing limited minutes on the fourth line. Subban will be a sheltered 3rd pairing guy....heck, unless he turns it around, he's almost there already.
- GalacticStone

You forgot to add: "...and they would both be on 3 year X $7.5M contracts."

Yep, I watch the NHL for the Leafs.

I really don't give a (frank) about other teams.

I think Crosby took them to the Marty St. Louis tree trunk leg routine.

I wouldn't say that, he got the most money he could....and with the pandemic it is a perfect reason and explanation for any player to always get top dollar for their 1st contract.

He has no trade protection and he could end up anywhere now.

Off ice, Mac and Sid work out in Dartmouth at a gymnastic club. Marchand does his own thing with a trainer from Dalhousie, I believe.
