Stamkos has no Ontario connections. If he had Ontario connections, he would have left the Lightning and signed with Toronto FOR LESS!

To be honest, I'll probably sit the first round out, as I wallow in my annual post-Leafs season disappointment.

Then I'll see who is left.

Always root for the Canadian teams though - it's time to bring Stanley home.

I don't cheer for other Canadian teams because their fans are trash.

You look at any number of american teams and they're full of Canadians, so I pick one I like and run with it. Except Boston or Philly cuz their fans are also trash.

I'm not sure I want to watch today's Lightning game. I have a foreboding sense of doom facing Torts again.

Nicest away fans I've ever met were Columbus.

Keep in mind I was with my wife and young daughters, but people were coming up to us in a restaurant before the game, wishing us good luck, striking up conversations.

At the arena, they couldn't have been more polite and friendly.
