Leafs suck haven’t won a round in 15 years what a franking joke of a team - sensmelon
Thank you for this very original post. I hadn't even considered the leafs' successive failures prior to your enlightening observation.

I honestly think you guys have bumbled and fumbled your way into a fantastic position.
You have a really good handful of players - all locked up.
And you basically have a blank slate for the rest of your team next year - you've got almost nobody signed.
There's going to be a helluva lot of UFAs this summer looking to sign any deal they can get their hands on - at deep discount prices.
IMHO, you are perfectly positioned to strengthen your team this offseason. - Atomic Wedgie
well, yes and no.
Positioned well, yes.
Execution is a big question mark, especially with the Pegula's involved...I call them Kerry and Tim because we know Kim wears the pants in that relationship...and she'll (frank) it up bad!
don't bother calling, we suck and we know it, lol! |

Oilers got 5 in a row, it’s the Leafs turn. We’ll share the profits, I promise. - Garnie
Ya and look at the credibility and disdain people have for the "career ruining oilers"
leafs deserve some good results... i just wish management would have kept it simple.... thinking that being all offence was a real good idea is showing to be one of the bigger fails in the NHL.
Golden nuggets got away with it, but this is the nhl and defense in hockey vs basketball is not the same... who rationally could have bought that this was a recipe for success inn todays NHL let alone in the NHL playoffs...

Lol.
No, no the Laughs are not.
They are much further screwed than the Sabres.
and Sabres fans know their team is a mess. - IonSabres
The Leafs and Sabres suffer from the same problem, really. Quite a bit of talent, but can't put it together and not much will to win. And while both are in that boat, I'd rather have the Leafs' assets than the Sabres' assets.
But neither team can throw crap at the other given that they both are under-performing compared to where they should be. |

Lots of easy saves and some bad luck for the Leafs. ( JT’s post was the killer IMO ) - Garnie
the second goal was the killer, freddy lets crap in all the time. |

with the offense the Leafs have, Andersen should NOT be blamed for last night. You ALL know the Leafs will allow a few goals a game but the team is built to outscore everyone, that's their identity. Goalie lets in 2 goals including one that deflected right in front of him and he made a bunch of nice saves, this one is NOT on him. |

Torts was feeling generous because they won. What did Keefe and company do so terrifically? Oh yeah...that was a terrific loss to CBus. |

I would hazard a guess that over 50% of the goals let in by Andersen in the series were deflections, and over 50% of those were by Leafs.
The first one last night was horrible - just let the goalie make the damn save. |
