i agree with ya...but he has had some really good opps and did nothing with it or threw it away..

While VGK is a much, much better team than EDM, they are not nearly as fast as the Oilers. No one on the Knights roster is anywhere close to McDavid or Draisaitl.

I think it’s already a big problem. Because after all the times we saw it in the qualifying round for it to happen again this early in to this series is mind boggling.

bokie is going to have to grow up vs these guys...

VGK starting to impose their will.

that is true but they just won 3 strt without their top scorer; they are a more complete team

When Carp or Caggiula are reading a play their legs are moving and they are constantly repositioning themselves. Whe Nylander is reading the play his feet stop completely. Something he needs to work on.

I think Murphy must still be hurt. He is not moving that well>

A few notes about the Vegas / Hawks games earlier this year. When you drill down on the defense it is interesting. The Hawks D at least on paper is much healthier and probably cumulatively better now than the 3 games they played against Vegas earlier this year.

Pretty sure the 4th line generated more O zone time than Strome’s line. Caggiula is what he is, but Strome and Nylander have shown nothing through 4.33 games.

After 1 period every Hawks player has now experienced what it is like to play Vegas. They contest everything and never give up on the play - as a 5-man unit - all the time. The Hawks must play quick and be sharp. It will be vital for the forwards to give the d-men a target to pass the puck to and the other forwards support - every shift the same as Vegas does it. They remind me of Columbus the way they play with structure and tenacity.

Hawks had a couple chances but Vegas carried the play. Hopefully they clean up the passing.

And again tonight, really my only gripe of the 1st period, playing 200 feet of hockey so far pulling LVGK type of hockey when Gallant was coach.

I feel as though the mind set is, they are going to roll 4 lines and we cannot give them a man advantage, we need to play a methodical 200 foot game vs this team and capitalize once they make a mistake. Question is can this young team be discipline enough to do this for another 40 minutes.
